Since 2012, Mericle Construction Inc. has been fully preparing 90 sites in 11 Northeastern Pennsylvania business parks and constructing speculative commercial buildings of various sizes and types on several of the finished sites.
Robert Mericle pioneered the development of speculative industrial buildings in Northeastern Pennsylvania. The vast majority of the approximately 100 buildings developed by Mericle were built on speculation. Since 2008, Mericle has developed more than more than 20 buildings on speculation along the I-81 Corridor.
For its ReadyToGo Sites!™, Mericle Construction, Inc. obtains all permits and full subdivision, land development, and utility approvals. In most cases, Mericle Construction completes all grading, including the placement of compacted stone sub-base in the building and pavement areas and makes the parcels completely ready for the immediate construction of building foundations. Our sites are truly ready to go. From the date a lease agreement is signed with a client, Mericle Construction can complete construction of a facility on a ReadyToGo!™ Site in nine months or less.
Truly unique to Mericle’s vertically-integrated process is its in-house Excavation team consisting of several dozen licensed heavy equipment operators and more than 80 Mericle-owned pieces of equipment. Excavation prepares sites for construction faster and more economically than other commercial real estate developer in Northeastern Pennsylvania.
